What happened to Kathleen's Klutter?

I have to say a massive "Hi Guys" to Shug and to Dannie. You know who you are! Thank you to your awesome support. Dannie, your email really kicked me up the backside to get myself organised - you are so courageous. Thank you.

So...
The last video I posted up on my Youtube was about 9 and a 1/2 months ago - I know right, I can't even believe it myself! So where have I been?

Working...
When I was semi active on my channels I was working part time, I've started working full time since, managing a local cafe in my area. My roster and sometimes long hours just made it difficult for me to create any content (9 months difficult) I just was always tired.

With my Youtube content...
I was always delayed when it came to reviewing toys. I thought that there was no point in reviewing a figure that was 4-8 weeks old - no one would watch it. I started to get too caught up on getting views and it wasn't fun anymore. I lost my purpose. I forgot why I even started to create content in the first place. I felt like I wasn't being myself anymore.

I never stopped collecting though...
I started with Transformers and Lego, but my collection has grown since and now includes Hot Toys, 1/6th scale figures, Figma, SH Figuarts and (thanks to my recent Japan trip) anime and statues! I know right statues! I never thought I would ever collect statue figures! I always thought articulation was where it was at, but nah man... statues are already posed in the best way possible and the likeness and detailing is amazeballs! Don't get me started on the anime statues and bishoujo ( . )( . ) you know what I'm talking about.

Japan...
I was busy saving up for a holiday to Japan with my partner Dennis. We had a great time and want to go back as soon as possible! Keep a look out for the Japan blog posts with maybe some tips around Akihabara and the geek culture in Japan (maybe).

Fake Geek...
Man I cop a lot of these! I really hate it and it adds to the list above of why I just stopped everything. Almost every day I would get comments and messages about how fake I am, that the toys and collectables I take photos of are not really mine or that I steal other people's photos. Seriously WTF man? I have spent thousands of dollars on this hobby which I love and if it was to put on a "Fake Geek" image, well then what an expensive prank this turned out to be! Still... I get the messages... these people don't even follow me by the way. I don't even know how they stumble across my stuff. Even though a lot of my followers are really encouraging and positive (love you all) it's the negative ones that stand out. I've started just deleting these types of comments but it still stings.

New Kathleen's Klutter...
If you are reading this you will notice that it is on a new website *SURPRISE*
My old website was shut down and my content and previous blogs deleted because Dennis, forgot to renew my hosting hahaha. When that happened that really pushed my procrastination in overdrive! Well it's not just a new website for no reason though... this hobby is not going to slow down anytime soon so I am diving head-first and opening an online store!

I think that pretty much covers where I have been and where I am going. For those of you that follow me, you will notice that I deleted everything on Instagram and started again. It's a good thing.

So... you know where to find me if you want to keep following.

Stay connected.
